Dark Energy Science Collaboration
LSST will probe the physics of dark energy in many different ways. Recognizing this, we set up the LSST Dark Energy Science Collaboration and published a whitepaper. Significant work needs to be done prior the the beginning of the LSST sky survey, and our group is heavily involved with the DESC. Much of the R&D involved in the DESC tasks is funded by the DOE Office of Science, as is our group.
